Theres No Place Like Home

Oh it feels so good to have all my own stuff ,my own bed. Walk around naked and all that jazz. After almost 2 months of shackin up with family we finally moved to Kansas. So far i don't really know what I think. Its a super old town! I mean some of the roads here are still made of bricks! I got a lead paint pamphlet when we moved in. Now that is old. We found a little house in an older neighborhood of course. But I love it. It's perfect for our family and the perfect amount of rent too. Gas here is 1.99. Yay!! Jadyn and Maddux are loving the backyard and seem to be 90% happier which is amazing just in itself. Our living room is still filled with boxes, but im getting at it. Vestas keeps amazing us and is proving to be a awesome company to work for! Pat just set up his own desk on friday he was pretty excited. Well here are some pics of the trip. Thanks for stopping by.

My Bad

So Pat has informed me that it is not a windmill company but a wind turbine company, and that there is a big difference. Just in case anyone cared ha ha. We spent the week at Annie and Erics had a good time! Thank you so much for all who have sheltered the homeless this past month!

Happy 1st Birthday

Madduxs birthday was Sep 11 which was quite awhile ago. I am slow but I didn't want him to think I forgot to blog him. I just love love love him. He is adorable you have to agree. Happy 1st birthday Little Stinker!

Chapter 3: yay for jobs boo for kansas

pat got a job as an inventory coordinator for a windmill company in kansas so one more move boo but as much as kansas sounds horrible im actually really excited.

sorry i haven't been keeping up. the internet is just too slow for my patience at the mortensen house. and we havent been doing alot so nothing to write about really. waiting to hear back from a job in kansas with windmills and slowly becoming poorer and poorer. i will upload some pics soon i promise.

Mom

This is my life. No its not glamorous in any way. It usually includes some food or some sort of stickyness all over. It no longer includes make-up or earings or those cute little shorts that no longer look good on me. Its alot of whinning and crying and arghh...........But it's amazing! And at the end of the day theres 2 people who think im their hero as i think my mom is and that makes every second worth it.
