Keppys 1st Birthday

J, M, and B were really excited for his birthday. They kept counting down the days. And would tell him "Only 5 more days Keppy!"  ect..ect...  I tried to be very disciplined with Kepners food and although a few people slipped him a thing or two.  The plan was to not let him taste sugar until his first birthday. So that was a big build up for the kids. "Kepner you get to try cake!" Thursday was his birthday and Maddux had baseball practice that night. I decided to wait until sunday to celebrate his birthday, so he would get a proper celebration. This upset the kids alot. But I distracted them by letting them help get things ready. Bodey made a huge Happy Birthday sign out of paper. We made him this little hat out of paper. And Maddux made his cake, which we saved in the fridge for 2 days. Sunday finally came and the kids were so excited. They rushed around the house putting up decor and finally we all hid and yelled "surprise" when Pat walked him in the door.

The cake had blueberries, cheerios, sprinkles and a cat on it. His favorite thing is the neighbors Kitty. It was also his first word.

Kepner was a little irritated that we made him sit in his high chair and tie a paper hat to his head. He was also ready for a nap and I don't think he was over all feeling super good. Basically his birthday wasn't about him at all. It was about Jadyn, Maddux, and Bodey. :)

He pulled the blueberries right off. He loves blueberries.

He took a few tastes of the frosting, but didn't really eat the cake. Then I cleaned him up and gave him a good nap. :)

I have spent every single day of the last year with Kepner. It has been heavenly. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. He's normally all smiles and such a blessing to our family. We love you soooo much Keppy! Happy 1st Birthday.

BFF's

The only word he can say is "Kitty"

Playing Ball

Playing ball pretty much sums up our life with the 4 boys. We own 800 million balls. Footballs of every shape and size, basketballs of every shape and size, 100 golf balls, the list goes on. Every time I clean up the amount of balls I pick up drives me about batty. They boys will even play football while they shower.

M turns 7.

I know I keep saying this. But this blog keeps getting harder to stay caught up on. Sometimes I think I should just throw in the towel, and say adios. But then I read back on some old post and it's things I totally forgot about. So I am going to keep posting bits and pieces here when I have a free minute.

He had the rice krispie cake planned for a little over a year.

We went to 2 different Dillons to find it.

When I wasn't looking he dumped thousands of sprinkles all over it. He had a birthday party at the bowling alley with all his friends. I forgot to take any pictures while we were there. Probably because I was trying to keep the pizza coming for the the 8 ravenous 7 year olds!

He also got this four wheeler. It was a pretty big hit. Even if Pat had teach him how to shift. And maybe yell a bit at him. When he thought he was too big to listen.
It was freezing cold that day. But he didn't care. He wanted to ride it anyway.

M's a pretty cool cat. Happy 7!

Priceless Just Priceless

One of their absolute favorite things to do when it rains is to go look for toads.

I went out with them for a lil bit. But Kepner was sleeping and I needed to get some stuff done inside.

So I snapped these few pics with my phone and then left. Thinking they might return in a hour or two.

To my surprise about 10 min later they were back. And looked like this. Apparently they had gotten in a a mud fight. Can you tell who won?

Oh man I couldn't stop laughing.

And then there's this video. Priceless Just Priceless.

Summer Haircuts

Oh hey remember summer 5 months ago. Ya. I'm still trying to catch the blog up to that.

It was time. The boys hair required constant trimming. Like every two to three weeks. It was getting really hot. And their hair was pretty shaggy. I was sad and glad at the same time. Somehow I had gotten a lil attatched to their hair.
Bodey said he didn't want to cut his. So we deciced not to make him.
 Eek.
Afterward. Looking good M.

After Bodey saw Madduxs he decided he wanted his cut too. But of course he didn't want a picture. Also after Pat complained about the terrible job I was doing. I handed him the clippers and made him do it.

He also refused to take an after picture. :)
