I really wanted to dress up but didn't really have time to make myself an actual costume so I decided to be a deer. It was fun.

Maddux has wanted to be a ghost for a couple years now.

 Body wanted to hold Kepner. The little bum hold kills me.

 I had a pretty big fail on getting a good picture of Maddux. He was upset because I didn't have time to make him a ghost costume.

 He also wanted to hold Keppy.

 Jadyn and her friend Abby. She wasn't thrilled to be getting her Halloween picture.

 Kepner was killing me all night long when we were trick of treating. He was so adorable.

Then later on Jadyn and her friend Emry did this. I was not a fan.

Halloween 2013

For our trunk or treat I made some cheesy family costumes. Maddux and Bodey were thrilled to be dalmations. It took a bit of convincing to get Jadyn to be Cruella. And alot more convincing to get Pat to be Pongo. But in the end everyone was a good sport and we all had fun. Pongo did however refuse to be in any pictures. But let it be documented that he was there. :)

Washing Cruellas hair the next day was a bit of a nightmare!



As for their school costumes I let them choose whatever their little hearts desired to be.

Except I did say no to Bodey being a scary wolverine.

And Jadyns first costume choice was a soccerball. But I had no clue how to make that costume! So then she decided she wanted to be a witch. Yay! Easy peasy.

Maddux decided he wanted to be a ghost. Double yay. I only spent 10 min making his costume and I do have to say it was awesome!

Maddux had trouble seeing through his costume however and I felt like I was leading a blind man trick or treating.

This was the first year I let Jadyn trick or treat with friends. It made a bit of a long night for all of us, but she went to bed happy. 

Halloween 2012

Jadyn really wanted to wear make-up. Maddux really wanted to be something that can fight. Bodey fell asleep halfway through trick or treating.

The making of a Haunted House

 10 bucks well spent at Target. I thought we had 10 bucks worth of fun.

And cleanup was easy you just throw it all away. Way better than trying to make your own.

Foam haunted houses, I had them make during Stake Conference. Maybe a little loud, but seriously Stake Conference is 2 hours. It's hard for me as an adult, much less them! (they added the glitter glue at home)

When Jadyns teacher sent home a list for their party and we were in charge of treats. I was excited, we love any excuse to make cupcakes.

Pat didn't dress up. Happy Halloween! Everyone brush your teeth tonight.
