Jadyn Update

This is Jadyn ready for church. She is not always as precious as she looks though. Sometimes and sometimes not. Her and Maddux have been getting in same major wars lately. I would really like to put her in pre-school, so that they don't spend every second of every day together. Other than fights with Maddux, she is doing good. She is a sunbeam now and loves primary. She was having some nightmares at night and coming in our bed every night for awhile. I stopped letting her watch everything except Dora and she started sleeping again. She won't let us turn off her lamp though because of monsters and sleeps with it on all night long. She eats more than I do. She thinks that she is getting a new baby brother and wants to name him Brenley. Isn't that a girl name? She wants to cut her hair like Dora. She thinks if you eat your boogers you die. She has a small obsession with my make-up and lotions. She thinks she needs every pair of shoes at target and a pink and a purple jeep. She has the conversation skills of a 6 year old. She has tantrums like a 1 year old. She is getting big.

I like

I really like this room. If only I had an extra 10,000 to spend decorating Jadyns room.

Vampires

I can post this because #1 I am so sneaky, sneaky. And #2 because Pat never reads our blog. So unless someone mentions it to him, (this is a threat!) don't mention it. But what do you think? Pretty sexy right? I mean compared to Edward Cullen, ya Pat just sucks. He doesn't suck venom out of my blood or anything like that. Oh I am so in love with you Edward. Come on who needs Bella when you can have Lyllian Cheever? Only problem is, you are a vampire, oh wait you aren't real. But compared to real live human beings. I will just say I think putting our children to bed makes him more attractive every time.

whats new

its always good to see them. even though it was a million degrees below zero out.

my children being monsters. although this is nothing new. this would be spilled oatmeal all over my floor :(
like i said monsters. maddux with toothpaste in his hair. im not even sure how he did this?
so we decided this was madduxs new time out. Jk, he has yet to expeirence his first time out. still to little. but it would be funny.
we solved the dog dillema. Jadyn gave the dog to maddux for christmas. so so sweet. i am so proud of her.

our couch finally arrived! i love it. now i want the ottoman and 2 chairs to complete our living room. but those we will have to start saving for again. but one of these days.

also our car seems to be losing its power steering. so sad. nothing i hate more than spending money on car repairs.

and #3 arrival to our family happens to be baking in my oven. ;) It explains all the ridiculous crying and the giardia that was not giardia but morning sickness. It came as a bit of a surprise, but they are always a blessing. Well thats it until my next blog, Happy Trails!!

Tired

maddux took one bite of pizza today and then his eyes started drooping and his head started falling and i looked at him again and he was dead asleep in his high chair i had to dig in his mouth and get the peice of pizza out

this is Jadyn this summer who did the same thing. she fell asleep while eating a icecream sandwich, the icecream still gripped in her hands it was too funny. I hope my kids aren't the only ones who just drop dead?

Haircuts

i wanted bangs so i decided to cut them myself. the next day Jadyn decided she wanted bangs too and she also cut them herself. thank goodness i caught her before too much damage was done!

Happy New Year

It is a sad sad day when you don't stay awake to welcome the new year. It is a sad day when Pat has to work the next day. It is a sad day when Maddux wakes up at 12 and you whisper happy new year, tuck him in bed with you and go back to sleep.

GoodBye 2008


-In 2008 we moved 4 times. From Colorado to Goergia to Utah to Kansas.
in 2009 we will not be moving!

_In 2008 our vacations were small and few and kid oriented. Utah, Wyoming, Georgia Dome Aquarium, Atlanta Zoo.
in 2009 they have to be better cause maddux is no longer breastfeed. Not that kid vacations aren't fun too.

-In 2008 I went to the gym maybe 50 times.
in 2009 I need to get there at least 4 times a week. maybe run that marathon with kera :)

_In 2008 we maxed 2 credit cards.
in 2009 we will be paying them off and cutting them up. Actually maybe by the end of this month. yay for a good job!

-In 2008 i can't think of to many things that i did that weren't for myself or family
in 2009 i will sign up for the church cleanings, help the old lady with her grocerys and whatever other service comes my way.

_In 2008 maddux learned to walk
in 2009 he'll learn to talk.

-In 2008 Jadyn learned her ABC's
in 2009 to read.

2008 I would give you 1 and 1/2 thumbs up but 2009 im giving you 2 thumbs up don't let me down.
