Ok I know I post way too much and every post is about my kids. But this blog happens to be mostly for myself. And I can't help but document. Your just lucky I let you read it. Jk

So anyways this post happens to be about a couple things. First take a look at the sweet bike in the background. It used to be a pink princess bike. We gave it a good black and blue spray paint job. It turned out looking absolutely ghetto. But much more boyish and Maddux was happy. Hand me downs are awesome aren't they?

And secondly my poor daughter, she needs a pet so badly. She named him Wormy. And she got him dirt and water and checked on him over and over. And after all day of playing with Wormy he didn't move anymore. So sad.

Sweet baby brother moments

I thought it was cute she fell asleep snuggling up with him. I dont think I would ever catch her doing this with Maddux. Little does she know hes going to grow up into a pesty little brother too.

Maddux thought it would be nice to share his sucker with Bodey. Instead of yelling at him I decided to take a picture. Bodey loved it. Might as well start the teeth rotting as soon as they get teeth right?

Circus

It was actually very cool. And the kids loved it.

During intermission there was a bunch of stuff to do for $5 a ticket. You could ride the elephants! We let them each pick one thing. Neither picked the elephant ride though. I was sad. Maddux picked a pony ride and Jadyn picked face painting.

If you ever get the chance to go I thought it was fun and worth the money. Monster truck show on the other hand..... skip.

Jadyn and Maddux play "follow the prophet" This includes tying a string around Madduxs tummy and then pulling him around the house both singing, follow the prophet, follow the prophet.

Maddux is our spider killer. I hate killing them so if I see one and Pats not home I yell "Spiderman i need you." And Spiderman (Maddux) comes a running and stomps on it, even in his barefeet. What a guy.

Bodey has 2 bottom teeth.

Putting Jadyn to bed, I say "love you, your a good girl." She says "love you, your a good mommy." Pause. "Except for when I be bad and you yell at me"

And this one deserves to be shared. I made it up by myself. There was a recipe on the back of the egg noodles that called for all ingredients I didn't like. So I added all the ingredients I like.

Chicken Breasts in crock pot for 4 hours

Cook egg noodles according to package then add 1/4 cup olive oil

Cook chicken mushrooms and green peppers in olive oil mince in 2 garlic cloves

Throw it all together top with parmesan and romano cheese

Mmmm a good pasta is always up my alley!

Maddy

Maddux hasn't been on the blog for a bit. He learned how to pedal his bike this spring and wants to spend every second outside riding his bike. I can't say I mind to much, I like being outside too. Pat and Maddux went to a monster truck show and he hasn't stopped talking about it since. Maddux is probably better at soccer than half the kids on Jadyns team. He loves to play any kind of ball.


He is silly.

I like him.

Sometimes big sisters are cool

And sometimes they are not.........


Sometimes they make you play princess.

And sometimes they cut big chunks out of your hair. (This is Maddux)

And sometimes they sculpt snowman out of wet toilet paper. Very creative Jadyn but what you don't understand is that you wasted an entire roll of toilet paper and clogged the sink.

The Bangs

So there they are folks. Not a great picture of them (it really is meant to be a picture of Bodey) But I was brave and I like them. And isn't Bodey sweet.

Easter Festivities

I just added one of Bodey cause there wasn't any pictures of him, and he's cute. We made flowers and bunnies.

I made these chocolate covered fudge eggs with my friend Mary. I have talented friends who have fun ideas. I lucked out. They in return get nothing from me. When I count my blessings I name my friends one by one. Ok I don't really do that, but I should.

This is about as creative as I get which is not very creative. It's a bunny pancake in case you can't tell.

Sunday we tried to watch conference at the church. My kids didn't last very long.

Egg Hunt

They rocked it.

Really?

I was browsing for some new summer clothes for my kids. I clicked on baby gap and this is the picture that popped up. Please tell me this is not the new style. This is disgusting. I would never put my little boy in those shorts. Sick!

Jadyns 1st Soccer Game

Before her game she wanted to eat an entire bowl of peas..... It didn't help.

She wanted to wear pink everything, but unfortunately for her they got ugly yellow shirts.

Her team lost by 1 goal that they scored on themselves. It was amusing.

She got pushed down once and I thought she was going to cry. But she got back up.

She spent most of the game chasing the crowd, the other part she was spinning in circles or picking grass.

She did kick the ball 3 times during the game- in the wrong direction. And she could have kept going, no one was around. But she stopped and started jumping up and down and throwing her fists in the air- in celebration. I think we'll try cheerleading next!
