Oh Maddux

Im afraid he has been spending too much time with his sister. The worst part is I think he enjoys all this more than Jadyn. Im not sure if I should laugh or cry?

I found a white pair of flip flops that used to be Jadyns and I told him he could have them. He said "No, white is a girl color!" He dresses up as a princess but he cant wear white flip flops. A couple days later him and Jadyn decided to paint them blue. They decided this by themselves and found paint but couldnt find a paint brush so they just decided to paint them with their hands. One big mess. But I did have to laugh at this one. At least they took the project on outside.

Confessions

I have a confession. I kind of love Kansas.



Before Kansas, I had never expeirenced lightning bugs. They are completely harmless. And slower than slow even Maddux catches them.



And watching them light up all over the yard is very cool.

If only I had a good camera and the patience to capture them actually lighting up.

I have another confession. I like the heat, even the humidity. And i love our water park that just opened in our town.

And another confession. Im a very bad mom and I accidentally let my 2 year old get a very bad sunburn today.

And I have to share Jadyns confession. She said "mom at my first t ball game every one kept yelling at me to run home, and I thought they really meant run to our house, and I didnt know where it was, and I almost started crying."

Dad

He says "happiness is just the state of mind of your thoughts" or something like that, in other words think happy thoughts and you'll be happy.

He ends phone conversations with happy trails.

He has been a truck driver for lots of years. People ask me so was he gone alot when you were growing up? I say ya i guess, but i never really noticed, he was always there when it was important.

He has 6 kids.

Some mornings he sits outside on the rocking chair with a bb gun and trys to shoot birds off the lawn.

He dyes his gray hair red.

Im glad he's my dad. Happy fathers day.

Growing old

We dont have cable so the only place I watch tv is at the gym. Today while struggling on the treadmill. I started watching these soccer clips. And they were so sweet. And I started getting this huge urge to kick the ball again. Running down the side line and making a cross, cause thats what I did best. And then I started having flashbacks of track and my heart pumping in the blocks. And then of the feeling of winning state in the 4 by 1 and I was hugging Naomi in my mind and our coach was yelling "you beat the school record!" I got myself so worked up in my head, that I decided to push the speed button on my treadmill. I got going pretty fast. And I tried to slow down and I couldn't. And I almost fell off the treadmill and looked pretty stupid. Moral of my story is don't daydream about the glory days at the gym, do it somewhere private and save yourself the embarrasement or better yet leave the glory days in the past.

And Pat really did grow one year older last week. He wanted brownies instead of cake so thats what we made him. Happy 26 babe. We love you.

ten and a half months

The White Sox

T-ball started!Matt your the best coach!

She picked up a grounder and threw it to first base. I was so proud.

Abby and Maddux. Maddux wishes he could play soo bad. He gets really sad. Oh and I might make a pre- arranged marriage for these two. What do you think Jana?

I was slacking last game. But I will get video of her running the bases. Cause she is hilarious.

Look at those leg muscles :) I think its going to be a good season. Go white sox.

Just in the mood to blog (not offended if you do not read)

Sadly this is the only picture I have on my camera right now .... She is getting better at riding her scooter.
Bodey is getting 2 more top teeth. To make 4 total teeth.
Pat has been working in Scott City still. He was home today. He fixed Jadyns bike, the garbage disposal and gave me a small break from the kids. We are missing him so much. Hopefully we will know if we are moving soon.
I left my purse in Denver. My whole life is in that thing. I am missing my phone MUCHO! It better be arriving in the mail soon or I might go insane.
Maddux has been taking really long naps and not eating alot. Which he doesnt really eat alot anyways. He worries me. He is sick alot.
Bodey refuses to crawl. I try to help him learn, but he is only interested in holding my hand and walking. Exactly the same as my other 2 children. How can I have 3 kids that cant crawl?
Jadyn plays with our neighbor Sierra all the time. She is a very nice girl, but shes 10. Jadyn is 4. At first the age difference kind of made me nervous. But they talk about "my little pony" and make crafts together. Maddux loves her too. She is a little bossy but im glad they have someone to play in the pool with.
I love summer.

jadyn saw a woman smoking at wal-mart today. she said "hey lady dont smoke." and the lady gave her the biggest crusty ever. it was just really funny and i wanted to remember it. thats all.

Races were run, good times were had.

My mom and 3 sisters. Im still a little biter about getting the ugly orange shirt. They said "we will win the race"

There were 54,000 people. We didnt win. :)

Nor did any of us run together for very long. We all run different paces.
