A Happy Fall

we went to another pumpkin patch. since we had so much fun last time. this one had a zip line. bodey is starting to coo and smile. it's the best. maddux is just a goober like he always is. poor kid being the middle child. jadyn is driving me nutto! the girl has some very obvious selective hearing. i like trees in the fall. i hate punctuation. pat started school this week. go pat- getting his masters. he has been putting in some overtime at work too cause we could use it! i feel insane, literally dont feel like i ever just have a normal day. i always feel 3 steps behind and im constantly trying to run and catch up. at the end of the day i think oh crap i didnt read to maddux, i didnt do the dishes, i didnt tell jadyn good job at preschool, i didnt sing bodey nursery rhymes, did i eat dinner? wait, did i even brush my teeth today? and man am i tired, and oh man its all starting all over again tomorrow ahhhhh. what am i doing making a blog?

Preschool snacks

The theme for the week was spiders, bats and the letter J. They have a class of 16. Monday we took peanut butter and jelly jackolanterns and spider suckers. Wednesday I made rainbow jello. Friday I made baby parfaits and no bake bat cookies. I make Jadyn tell me mom your the best.





P.S. I did get the kitchen floor mopped!

See you a little later

I am grounding myself from the computer for a little while. Until I can get all my projects done, (including a painted dresser and mopping the kitchen floor). It's not that making a blog actually takes that long. I can actually make a blog in a matter of minutes now. But it's once I get on the computer I get so distracted. I check facebook and then my e-mail and then look at everyone else's blogs and then nap-time is over, and I did nothing! So rest assured that we are still fine. Maddux stuck gum up his nose that was never retrieved, but we are ok. And hopefully will be back soon.

Too Sweet

We gave Maddux a couple weeks to adjust to a new house and baby, but when he still wasn't sleeping at night, it was time for "tough love." And we put a gate up in his room. Tonight he wouldn't go to bed and Bodey needed my attention so I put it up. He was crying "mommy, mommy." It was breaking my heart, but I knew I needed to be consistent. After a couple min of crying mommy, I guess he figured I wasn't coming and he starts crying "Jadyn, Jadyn." Pretty soon he stopped so I quietly peeked in his room and I found Jadyn in bed with him singing "twinkle twinkle little star." They have connecting closets so she must have went through the closet. It's probably the cutest thing I have ever seen..... But I am biased, I am their mom. :)

Pumpkin Patch

Corn maze, hay stack rides, hay stack slides, a cornbox, the Blankinships, a good time. I think the slide was their favorite, we spent like an hour on it. Oh and the tractors.... Only in Kansas do you see 2 tractors trying to pass each other. I had to take a pic just so you can feel sorry that I have to live in the worst state in the United States. A field of pumpkins is actually a very cool thing to look at, but I was to busy playing and forgot to take a pic.

At my house

Maddux turned into a dog. Jadyn turned into a 4 year old mom. Pat turned into a horse. Bodey turned 2 months.
