Self Timer Christmas Photos

Next year, a promise to myself we will actually get real photos taken. Its extremely difficult to get Pat to take a photo, but he did push the self timer and give it 2 trys. This turned out the best out of the 2. So it wasn't quite what I had in mind for a Christmas card, but Hurray it's a family photo.
r
Jadyn wanted a picture with her head in the middle of the wreath.
Bodey is just as bad as Pat.
Oh Maddux and that smile, it never gets old to me.
I baked a quadruple batch of chocolate zuchinni brownies. They took up the entire kitchen and dining room for a few hours.Yum. I hope people consider themselves lucky to be on my Christmas List. Yum.

Deer Hunt

We have some AWESOME friends whos last name means Hunter. They try to live up to this. And they wanted to bring us along. So saturday we went into Ace Hardware and bought a deer tag. 6 hours later after tracking and me falling asleep in the truck. I knelt down on one knee aimed my rifle at this little buck and shot him in the head. (I was aiming for his shoulder) And he went down Woo Hoo! It was alot of fun. Pretty sure I'm hooked. Even the gutting didn't really bother me. It was kind of cool. And I'm going to have a freezer full of meat that isn't fatty like beef, I am excited! Pat shot one too!

Hair the color of Honey

Jadyns hair is starting to get pretty long. It's really pretty when she occasionaly lets me fix it. She is quite the tom boy these days.

Turkey Pumpkin

I'm really tempted to put up my Christmas Tree and to turn on Christmas music. But thats just plain mean to thanksgiving. I'm trying to distract myself by making thanksgiving decor. The stores don't sell hardly anything for thanksgiving, so Ive had to resort to my own creativity. Bodey likes to pet him.

A post with pictures

Jadyn had two adult teeth grow in behind her baby teeth. I called the dentist and they said we needed to pull out her baby teeth. She did great!
Did you know that half burnt wood can make a great charcoal paint. You can paint your baby brothers face with it. Sometimes it's better to just laugh than get mad.

Like when your husband teaches a 4 year old how to climb the side of the house and get his balls off the roof. Seriously?! Does that not seem dangerous?! Like I said better to laugh than get mad.
A pumpkin I made for singing time in Primary. Maddux thought it was hilarious to make it have a mean face and then make himself have a mean face. So funny.
Maddux " take a picture of me and my pumpkin"
Maddux "Let me take a picture of the boo pumpkin"
 Maddux "Mom, Smile!"

Maddux was making Bodey laugh so hard this day. Made for cute pictures.

 Snotty nose and all.
 Maddux and sticks are hilarious.

 oops got his feet.
crap did it agian. my photography= perfection. :)
Love Madduxs outfit. He dressed himself. He is usually such a good brother.
Maddux "Mom take a picture of me and Koala (his bear)"

"Take a picture of me throwing leaves"

Lots of Maddux. What can I say he is one funny kid.
 Carving pumpkins at Brodeys party.
Jadyn made her pumpkin heart eyes, nose and mouth. So Jadyn.

Then we had a little Halloween party at our house. Such a bad idea I HATE hosting. I hate a gazillion little kids running all over.Yes I am a party popper. What was I thinking?

 Madduxs preschool parade.
You can't see his costume very good. He was a spider, I made it. It was actually pretty cute and FREE!
Jadyns school parade. Can't see her costume either she was a mermaid. Hand-me-down. FREE! Bodey was a pirate also a hand-me-down. Don't know why I forgot to take a picture of him.
By the time halloween night rolled around they were sick of their costumes and wanted to wear their skeleton jammies. It was a really nice warm night to trick or treat.
They hate getting out of the bath. I drain the water and they will still lay in the bottom of the cold tub. So funny. They have lost their favorite playmate (their sister) to school. And have recently become the best of buds. We call them "the boys"

Pat has been working, throwing the football at our fence, trees, and cars. And taking the kids to places that I hate like the dentist to get teeth pulled.

I have been trying to keep up with house, kids, the usual. Started a new work out with a friend called Brazillian Butt Lift. It's more like Brazillian butt hurt. Your supposed to do it for 4 weeks, we'll see how long I last.

Thats All. Happy Trails.

Maddux Parent Teacher Conference

I got to make it up this morming, since we missed it. His teachers had not one bad word to say. She said he could already do everything they were doing in class the first day (that surprised me)  nice, listens well. Never makes any trouble. Love having him in our class.

Hello

Hi blog. Hi. I seem to be finding less and less time for you. But it's late, late like past my bedtime late, and here I am still awake. We are busy. So busy. I want a pause button for my life please. Busy with primary. I adopted 8 more children. Little primary children who have a sacrament program coming up way too fast! Having 8 kids is exhausting, I'm absolutely sure. Every week is a labor of love for primary. Jadyn started cheer camp, loves It! We finally found a match, I think soccer is out. (It's ok. I'll live.) She gets to perform at the football game halftime. She is actually pretty good, heaven knows the child has a loud voice. We totally forgot about Madduxs parent teacher conferences today. Yes we get the worst parents ever award! I spent the past 2 hours gutting and carving jackolantern faces into 18 tiny oranges. Stuffing each orange with fresh fruit and mixing up fruit dip. Maybe when I present his preschool teachers with the most amazing preschool snack ever tomorrow, they will forget we are the parents who didn't show. Probably not. But hey I had fun. Even though the kitchen floor is now all sticky. I had a bladder infection this week. If you have ever had one, oh my goodness. Horrible! Miserable!

The making of a Haunted House

10 bucks well spent at Target. I thought we had 10 bucks worth of fun.
And cleanup was easy you just throw it all away. Way better than trying to make your own.

Finished Product

The eating of the haunted house.

Foam haunted houses, I had them make during Stake Conference. Maybe a little loud, but seriously Stake Conference is 2 hours. It's hard for me as an adult, much less them! (they added the glitter glue at home)
