Me and Pat have been taking turns sleeping with Bodey in his crib. When I say taking turns, Pat has actually only taken one turn, but you know the man is 6 feet tall and the crib is well, small. So I don't exactly blame him. It's our attempt at teaching Bodey to sleep in there. And it actually seems to be working.
I dropped Jadyn off at school. Then drove around our town for a bit, so Bodey would fall asleep. The entire town is only about 2 miles. So we can drive through all of it, before Bodey will fall asleep. I asked Maddux where he wanted to go. He said to see the horses. So we went and saw the horses. Then he wanted to go see the church, so we drove through the parking lot. Then he wanted to say a prayer, so we did. He is so cute.
Jadyn was playing a game with Bodey. He was chasing her and she was hiding his hot wheels from him. Bodey loves to play chase games. She needed to go to the bathroom. While she was going, she was hiding his car behind her back and acidentally dropped it in the toilet. She went number 2. Gross. I called Pat who was on his way home from work and told him it was his turn to retrieve things from the toilet. This sort of thing is not really unusual at our house. He retrieved it with a spoon. (Dont worry i threw it away.)
As I was making dinner, I got out our half broken, yet functional toaster. I told Pat "we should have asked for a new one for Christmas." He said "no way this ones got character."
