The weather outside is delightful!
Delightful to them. Very excited voice banging on the shower door this morning "mommy it's snowing! i want to catch them on my tongue!" We had a ball! Until it was time to get ready for school. Darn school ruins all our fun. :)

Estes Park + 6 Years
For our 6th anniversary we left the kids with Grandma Janice and Aunt Annie. Grandma took Maddux and Jadyn to Disney on Ice and Annie watched Bodey. Thank You! We snow shoed one day and went mountain biking another day. Estes Park is a beautiful mountain town in Colorado with cute cabins. I recommend it. I however do not recommend the shrimp scampi at Johnny Carinos. I puked it up about 3 hours later.
My finger ended up in half the pictures. I'm a great photographer :)
Snow shoeing is a blast!
Me and Pat thought these were reindeer. Later grandpa Dan informed us they are elk. ha ha.
I am a TERRIBLE mountain biker. But it was still so much fun!
Pat sent me a huge vase of flowers on our anniversary. Very Sweet! After he told me how much they cost, I told him not to buy me flowers ever again.

And the scanner scares me so i just took a picture of the picture. (Obviously not great quality) We were in the limo and ready to get out of there. Our wedding was a slight emotional disaster for me. Too many hormones mixed with stress or something. Me balling = wedding memories not really my favorite. Luckily we have had 6 years too make some more. :) Love You Pat. Heres to 6 years!

My Thoughts On My Life
Im 26. 10 years ago I was 16.
If you would have told me when I was 16 that 10 years from now I would be living in a tiny tiny town in Kansas, that I would have 3 kids and drive a ugly mini-van with a dent in the side of it, and that my legs would be hairy because I didn't have time to shave.
I think I probably would have sat down on the ground and started bawling and throwing a fit.(I was a drama queen) (You should have seen the fit that I threw when somebody else bought my prom dress). Life has not ended up as planned. I never liked little kids. I thought they were gross and annoying. And I really didnt want to be a country girl who picked weeds out of the garden.
I was wrong. Very wrong.
Life is not always as planned. It's better.

Conversations With My Daughter
Before bed I always lay with Jadyn. This is the best time to talk to her, because she will tell me anything and everything if it prolongs her going to sleep.
Tonight...
Jadyn "Did heavenly father make the bad people too?"
Me "Heavenly father just made people.Its our decision if we want to make good choices or bad choices"
Jadyn "Making good choices is like saying your prayers, not saying bad words."
Me "Yep"
Jadyn "Mom, Dad said a bad word when he was on the phone. It's in my head but im not going to say it. It starts with a S and ends with a D."
Me (silently in my head trying to think up a bad word that starts with a S and ends with a D)
Jadyn whispers "Stupid"
Me "oh"
(lucky Pat he only got a small spank on the butt for that one)

Everyday is an Adventure
what was life like without my kids? honestly i dont even remember. they entertain me.
on a different note. i am having issues with my blog being open to everyone lately. and i keep making it private and then change my mind, and then change my mind again and then make it private. any suggestions? should i be scared of crazys out there? do i really want just anyone getting a sneak peak at my so called life?
